ATS Heritage install new display of a video, interpretation panels, and model presented to the late Major Ivan Hirst REME. The Major made a considerable personal contribution to reviving the fortunes of Volkswagen after the second World War by working with the local German civilians to restart the manufacturing line in the devastated factory. The handmade and detailed model car was presented to Major Hirst by Volkswagen in recognition of his personal contribution.
