This autumn the Ashmolean will prepare for a major redevelopment of the Egyptian galleries. This exciting new project, led by Rick Mather Architects, will complete the Museum’s new Ancient World Floor, comprising galleries which span the world’s great ancient civilisations – ranging from Egypt and Nubia, Prehistoric Europe, the Ancient Near East and Classical Greece and Rome, to Early India, China and Japan. ATS will provide a comprehensive multimedia Guide and some of the AV elements for this project including the filming of a CT scan of the mummy.
