Advanced Thinking Systems Ltd has been providing Design and Project Management
Consultancy since the company was created in 1994. In 1998 the ATS Heritage
brand was developed to reflect our extensive heritage industry experience. We
are members of the Museum Association, and the Association for Heritage Interpretation.
ATS Heritage as a member of the Orpheo Network providing Audio Guides throughout
the world is now the fastest growing Audio Guide provider in the United Kingdom!
Examples
of our work can be found all over the United Kingdom and have worked in Castles,
Museums, Gardens, Mines, Caves, Ships, Bridges and Lighthouses.
Some of our larger projects have involved the use of Architects and Civil Engineers. An example is the Nenthead Lead Mines where we designed Waterwheels and associated interactives from scratch

It is, of course, widely recognized that children and adults learn and retain information most effectively through 'hands on' activity. Certain exhibits can be linked to the National Curriculum if required. This will, of course, encourage families to visit your premises as well as attracting valuable repeat business from local schools.

ATS is an Access Aware company and consider it of utmost importance that
all of our work can be enjoyed equally by all of our customers. It is so often
the case that a small modification to the design can make an enormous difference.
Where possible our equipment is designed to stimulate as many senses as possible
and able to be operated and enjoyed, at some level, by everybody.

Effective Project Management
The design and innovation is fundamental to the proposal, but of paramount
importance to this particular project is that your selected contractor has
strong project management skills so that you can be assured that the work
will be programmed and controlled to achieve the target of on time, on budget
and on specification.
ATS Heritage Project Managers not only have the experience to run the projects
but also have the necessary backup in terms of methods, processes, and support
within the company. Project Management is something that we are known for
in the industry and we achieve this by attention to detail, meticulous planning,
and good communication. Risks exist in all projects and we see that it is
our responsibility to identify risks, and manage issues as they arise, in
order to take corrective actions.
